Infusion Science Specialist, Mid Atlantic - Now Hiring

areaAs a field-based expert in educating and training external healthcare providers (HCPs) on infusion techniques and CSL products, the Infusion Science Specialist (ISS) leverages medical-scientific knowledge, clinical expertise, and professional relationships with key clinicians, homecare and specialty pharmacies and ancillary supply manufacturers to develop a continuum of advocacy for CSL Behring products.
ISS will develop infusion therapy educational programs to meet the needs of external customers and internal functions.
Travel up to 70% and can include weekends.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Deliver approved, company-developed educational and training programs on the intravenous and subcutaneous use of CSL Behring products to external audiences (HCPs, home infusion providers, nursing societies, patient advocacy organizations, etc.
).
Develop professional relationships with key external HCPs including nurses, physicians, pharmacists, nursing organizations, and specialty pharmacy clinicians to ensure exchange of infusion science information relevant to CSL Behring's products with a focus on immunoglobulins (IG).
Maintain a high level of medical-scientific knowledge around infusion therapy advancements across therapeutic area(s) and/or disease state(s) involving clinical issues related to infusion therapies and products.
Identify practical issues, unmet needs, and competitive insights relevant to the use of CSL Behring's infusion therapies and work with internal teams through the ISS Field Team Leader to create educational programs, tools, and solutions.
Provide infusion science education and consultation to internal audiences as needed and directed by the ISS Field Team Leader in collaboration with other TA Field Team Leaders, Medical Directors, and the Field Team Director.
Position Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
EducationNursing degree with clinical experience in infusion techniques, technology and infusion delivery is required.
Advanced Nursing degree is preferred.
ExperienceMinimum of 3 years in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry or home infusion industry preferred.
Expert knowledge in immunoglobulin therapy is highly desirable.
Prior experience in immunology or neurology is preferred.
Training expertise and proven ability to serve as a technical and clinical resource to the nursing and Specialty Pharmacy is preferred.

The expected base salary range for this position at hiring is $135K - $155K Please note this salary range reflects the minimum and maximum base pay that CSL expects to pay for this position at the listed location as of the time of this posting.
Individual base salary for a successful candidate is determined by qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies and other relevant factors.
In addition to base salary, total compensation for this role will also include incentive compensation and may include equity.
